What do online cards and cursors show?
Online cards show who is connected. A moving cursor shows where a collaborator is pointing in the same sprite’s Code workspace. It is not a screen share.
How to use them
- Hover an online card to see the person and their current sprite.
- Click the card to jump to their current workspace.
- To see a moving cursor, both people select the same sprite and open Code.

Online collaborator cards
The editor’s online area shows connected collaborators with account avatars and colors. Hover or focus a card to see its username and selected sprite. The layout reduces card and avatar sizes to fit larger groups.
The Collaboration panel separately lists who is authorized and how many users are online. A person in Project access is not necessarily connected right now.
Jump to a collaborator’s workspace
This is a jump to their current workspace, not a persistent screen-share or continuous follow mode. It does not give remote control of the other person’s browser.
- Find the collaborator’s card in the online area.
- Click it to select their current target and apply available editor-tab, zoom, and scroll information.
- Continue editing or select another sprite to return to your own work.
Where live cursors appear
CoBlocks sends collaborator pointer positions in blocks-workspace coordinates. To see another person’s moving cursor, both users must be in the same sprite’s Code workspace.
The pointer is hidden when the relevant workspace is not visible or the target/tab does not match. Cursors are not promised in the costume editor, sound editor, stage, or across the entire browser page.
